As a child, Sarah helped her mother and aunts care for the 14 babies who were born after she was. Then she became a babysitter. Thus began her lifelong interest and experience in the care of newborns.
Her work as preschool teacher, massage therapist, cook, infant massage instructor, nanny, night nurse, postpartum doula, mother and grandmother has instilled in her a deep appreciation for nurturing care.
Trained in both Waldorf and Montessori early child care practices, she brings over 30 years of experience and insight to the tasks of meeting the arrival of new life in ways that are warmly welcoming, practical, protective, and quiet.
